It's officially on y'all. Alaska high school football started the season Monday, August 5th. Get ready for a wide open and fun filled season of football. New coaches, new faces, new conference alignments and a new postseason playoff format; change is on the way.

Here's a listing of the state wide Jamboree games across the state this weekend:

At Kodiak High School's blue/gold football scrimmage is scheduled for 3:00pm Saturday at Joe Floyd Track and Field.

At Soldotna High School participating teams will include Soldotna, Nikiski, Homer and Kenai. The varsity teams will take the fields beginning at 2 p.m.

At Lathrop High School Interior Jamboree goes from 9 am to noon with West Valley, Lathrop, Eielson, Monroe and North Pole participating.

At Chugiak High School the Mustangs Stampede starts at 12:00 pm. Schools attending are host Chugiak, Eagle River, South Anchorage, Palmer, Colony, Houston, Nikiski and Valdez.

At Dimond High School the Annual Jamboree varsity scrimmage starts at 1:00 pm. Participating teams include host Dimond, East Anchorage, Service and West Anchorage.

In Juneau, the Black and Blue scrimmage match-up; Juneau vs. Thunder Mountain at 6:00pm.
