Alaska football gets "No Respect". The time has come once again for Alaska football player's to bring their talent to the forefront on the national stage. And the Third Annual Tanoa Bowl is one venue to show Alaska talent can compete.
Coach Numi Ilalio has assembled some of Alaska's top player's to go down to Washington as giant killers.

Alaska football is often overlooked because only a limited amount of scholarships are available each year and getting noticed is becoming more and more competitive. This is one way Alaska football can step up and get noticed by an NCAA sanctioned school to play college football.

Up here in the shortend cold tundra season, Alaska football is thriving where there are select players who can compete at the next level. These games are personal, very personal. Our player's are geared to go out and compete, get nasty and kick-butt. Here's the chance to boast the fact Alaska has a few good players. And if it's humiliating our opponent, so be it. And, the viewer will take away from their performance for what it is.

Alaska will be featuring our Gatorade Player of the Year, Conner Feckley. He
passed for 2,305 yards and 23 touchdowns this past season and set a state record with 7,099 career passing yards. Schools showing interest are Colorado Mesa, Fort Lewis, Montana Western and Bemidji State.

Alaska will also return three-time participant and 2011 Tanoa Bowl MVP Matthew Ilalio. Matthew has a full ride offer from Phillips Academy in Andover Massachusetts and he is their number one recruit.
