Kenai comes in with a high powered and well balanced offense attack. The Kardinals now can stretch the field with its skilled players. Kodiak's defense will be the main reason if the Bears advance, they must play lights out "D".

Homer comes in with first-class stats which is all good, but now they play the 3-time 3A state champion, conference foe and nemesis the "Soldotna Stars". The Mariners will have to play an error free game and shut down the Stars running attack. This game could be over in the first quarter with the Stars scoring 21 or 28 points in the first quarter.
